To put this cover in place, we will require the following:

  • Contact the office for a Statement of Fact
  • Copy of Full UK/EU Licence (Front & Back) for all drivers
  • Copy of Utility Bill showing main address (from the last 3 months)
  • Signed Terms of Business
  • Payment of premium (we can accept debit card, cheque or postal order)

No cover in force till confirmed by a member of the Campervan Team


In addition:

  • If vehicle is over 15 years old, we require copy of current CVRT

  • The figure quoted above is an indication only and is subject to receipt and acceptance by us of a fully completed proposal form and all relevant documentation, as noted above.
  • The Open Drive option refers to all persons drivers being over the age of 25 and under the age of 70, and holding a full Irish/ EU licence (with no accidents, claims, convictions, endorsements or any penalty points)
  • Please note that the undernoted assumptions apply. If your circumstances don’t match these assumptions’ we may still be able to give you a quote but the premium and terms will differ.

  • The vehicle is owned and registered in proposers name (cannot be registered in a Company Name)
  • Proposer is main driver of the vehicle
  • Vehicle is not used in connection with Business or Commercial Use
  • That the proposer or any named drivers has had no accidents, claims, convictions, endorsements or penalty points in the last 5 years
  • Licensing Authority are notified of any medical conditions
  • That the campervan is valued at no more than €100,000 (if higher value please contact the office to discuss)
  • Engine size is under 6.0lt
  • No Modifications were made to vehicle
  • That the above mentioned documents are received by Dolmen Insurances before cover can be confirmed
